I am currently working as a Product Designer in the RnD team at Secomea. I joined two years ago when the company was undergoing a scale up with ambitions to create a new product platform.

The first day I was met with a fresh installation of Preact and Chakra UI. Not my favourite stack, but I took this job for the product freedom and colleagues.

Unfortunately the design was an outsourced process and lacked any sort of integrity, direction or realistic long term vision.

So, my frontend partner in crime and I took it upon ourselves to pick up more of the product design. We developed a makeover in a new stack with user-centric design principles.
