Career
Troels Lauritz Reese Hedegaard
Started in 2013 with Fitbay (opens in new tab) — co-founded with a few friends, raised twice, crashed at full speed. Finished my Multimedia Design degree (opens in new tab) the same year. Had no idea what I was doing. Wasn’t the only one.
After building games for Danske Spil (opens in new tab), I joined Timekit (opens in new tab) and fell in love (opens in new tab) with Frontend all over again. New and fresh frameworks (opens in new tab) made it easier to create simple sites in complicated ways. Or is it the other way around? Timekit got acquired.
Next was Pentia (opens in new tab), where I became a mercenary in a guild fighting dragons. One quest required my rare knowledge of Marionette (opens in new tab) to save a dying application.
A global pandemic (opens in new tab) ended office work. I joined Upryt (opens in new tab), a remote-only compliance startup. They needed someone like me (opens in new tab). I spent my days designing, testing and building in Svelte.
I now live on a sunshine island in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Leading AI initiatives at Secomea. I help companies connect factories that are, errr, remote.
